Rapallo

Rapallo is one of the main tourist centres-resorts of the Riviera di Levante, located in the innermost part of the Gulf of Tigullio. Rapallo is only 33 Miles from Genoa towards La Spezia- Livorno. The oldest part of town, partly renovated, between the sea and the railway; the modern part, sort following the development that occurred since the last decades of the last century and especially after World War II, ARC stretches around the Bay and on the slopes of the hills behind, characterised by a typical Mediterranean vegetation. The port registered a considerable movement of recreational craft and faces a heliport. The villages of Santa Maria del Campo and San Massimo are inside, placed on the flanks of two valleys that converge to form the rio Bogo, at the foot of the promontory of Portofino. Like other towns of the area (and like all the places in the Riviere di Ponente and Levante), Rapallo provides a tourist offer based on binomial coast-hinterland, that only Liguria, Thanks to the particular conformation of the territory, may propose.
