Lago di Garda
Il Garda, di origine glaciale, è il più vasto fra i laghi Italiani con una superficie di circa 370 km².
Già famoso per le sue bellezze al tempo dei romani, presenta oggi un susseguirsi ininterrotto di testimonianze storiche e architettoniche; le sue rive, così come l´entroterra, sono punteggiate di borghi, castelli, splendide ville e località turistiche con i porticcioli e tipiche case color pastello.
La bellezza della natura è accentuata da un clima assai mite, che ha permesso a piante tipicamente mediterranee come olivi, cipressi e limoni di crescere indisturbate. L’azione mitigante del lago e la protezione delle montagne che lo circondano fanno sì che l’intera area non sia mai troppo calda d’estate né troppo fredda d’inverno.
Sono possibili diversi itinerari, come quelli gastronomici, la strada del vino, i tour delle chiese, dei musei, dei castelli e così via. Nella zona esistono anche numerosi parchi tematici, ideali per tutte le fasce d´età e per ogni tipo di preferenza: zoo, safari, terme, parchi botanici, parchi acquatici e di divertimento, il più famoso dei quali è Gardaland.
Per gli sportivi, il lago offre davvero l´imbarazzo della scelta fra le attività possibili: dagli sport più tranquilli, come nuoto, golf ed equitazione, a quelli un po’ più al limite, come windsurf, trekking e mountain bike, per finire su attività decisamente “estreme” quali free-climbing, deltaplano e parapendio.

The Garda, of glacial origin, is the largest of the Italian Lakes with a surface area of approximately 370 km².
Already famous for its beauty in Roman times, presents a series of historical and architectural; its shores, as well as the land agreement, are dotted with villages, castles, beautiful villas and resorts with marinas and pastel houses.
The beauty of nature is accentuated by a very mild climate, that allowed Mediterranean plants like olives, cypress trees and lemon trees grow undisturbed. The action mitigante of the Lake and the mountains that surround it make the whole area is never too hot in summer nor too cold in winter.
Different routes are possible, as those suggestions, the wine route, the tour of churches, of museums, castles and so on. In the area there are also several theme parks, ideal for all d if age and for any kind of preference: Zoo, Safari, Terme, Botanical parks, water parks and fun, the most famous of which is Gardaland.
For sportsmen, the Lake offers the agreement really spoiled for choice among the possible tasks: quieter sports, like swimming, Golf and horseback riding, those kind of’ more on the edge, How to windsurf, trekking and mountain bike, Finally on decidedly activities “extreme” what free-climbing, hang gliding and paragliding.
